Jason M. Hatfield
Trusted Personal Injury Lawyers
Jason M. Hatfield
Founding Partner
Jason M. Hatfield is the founding partner of the firm and one of Arkansas’s most trusted personal injury and workers’ compensation attorneys. For thirty years, he has represented individuals and families facing life-altering injuries, pursuing maximum compensation across every available avenue of recovery.
Jason delivers full service, aggressive representation for complex, overlapping injury claims. Whether a case involves a catastrophic motor vehicle accident, a dangerous workplace hazard, defective machinery, third-party liability, or bad-faith insurance denials, Jason identifies every responsible party to hold corporate defendants accountable.
His mission is simple: protect injured Arkansans and help ensure employers, businesses, and insurance companies honor their responsibilities.
Rooted in Hard Work and Real-World Experience
Jason’s dedication to injured workers comes from lived experience. Growing up in Rogers, he worked tough jobs from the age of fourteen, delivering newspapers, stocking shelves, loading trucks, and working fast food. He later put himself through college by working construction and performing demanding work inside poultry plants, including evisceration, deboning, and further processing.
He knows firsthand the physical toll of demanding labor and the impact when an injury strips away a family’s livelihood. That experience drives his relentless commitment to fighting for injured workers both in the courtroom and at the State Legislature, where he actively lobbies to protect workers’ rights against restrictive laws.
Scientific Training That Strengthens Every Case
Jason earned three degrees from the University of Arkansas:
- S. in Microbiology (1991)
- S. in Food Science (1994), with a thesis published in the Journal of Food Quality
- D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law (1997)
His deep scientific background gives him a tactical advantage when analyzing medical evidence, workplace hazards, and long-term impairment; a skill set that strengthens every injury case he handles.
Proven Results & Statewide Recognition
Jason has handled hundreds of depositions, bench trials, and jury trials in Arkansas Circuit and Federal Courts. His appellate victories include landmark reversals before the Arkansas Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, and his closing arguments in a major environmental trial were featured in the New York Times bestseller Animal Factory.
Jason’s courtroom record and legal leadership have earned him elite statewide recognition. He is the recipient of the 2026 Roxanne Wilson Award from the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, a Super Lawyers honoree (including Top 50 in Arkansas), an AV Preeminent-rated attorney, and recognized among The Best Lawyers in America and WILG’s Top 100 Injured Workers Attorneys, among many other industry honors. He actively shapes the legal profession through leadership roles on the Board of Governors for ATLA, the Board of Trustees for the Arkansas Bar Association, and as Past President of the Washington County Bar Association.
What Clients Can Expect
Clients receive direct, personal access to an attorney who treats every case as his own. Jason provides thorough investigation, honest guidance, and uncompromising representation from start to finish.
Outside the Courtroom
Jason’s commitment to Arkansas extends well beyond the courtroom. Dedicated to giving back, he serves on the Board of Directors for Kids’ Chance of Arkansas helping provide scholarships to children of workers killed or severely injured on the job and sits on the Selection Board for Habitat for Humanity. When he isn’t battling insurance carriers, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, working outdoors, traveling, fishing, and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks and Kansas City Chiefs.
If You Have Been Injured, Jason Is Ready to Help
Jason offers free consultations for injured workers and families. If you have been hurt at work or in an accident, he will explain your rights, answer your questions, and help you understand the best path forward.
